Dr. Judith Feher-Gurewich is a Lacanian analyst and doctor in the social sciences. She recently edited The Subject and the Self: Lacan and American Psychoanalysis with Michel Tort (Northvale, N.J.: Jason Aronson, 1996) and is editor of the Lacanian Clinical Field Series at Other Press, New York. She is Director of the Lacan Seminar at the Center for Literary and Cultural Studies at Harvard University, member of Espace Analytique, Association de Formation Psychanalytique et de recherches Freudiennes (Paris), member of the Boston Psychoanalytic Society, and a faculty member at the Massachusetts Institute for Psychoanalytic Psychology.
