Tim Berne and Michael Formanek have performed and recorded together (i.e. Bloodcount) for more than a decade in the US, Canada and Europe. The duo has completed three successful tours; their first duo CD, Ornery People, was received with critical acclaim. Performance highlights include the Earshot Festival, the Toronto Downtown Jazz Festival, the Texaco/New York Jazz Festival, and the 1998 Monterey Jazz Festival.
