Percussionist/electronic musician Guillermo E. Brown emerged from the New York avant-garde as a member of David S. Ware's quartet. He has recently recorded with DJ Spooky (Optometry), William Parker's Little Huey Creative Music Orchestra, and Spring Heel Jack. Mr. Brown's solo electo-acoustic debut, Soul at the Hands of the Machine, was released in April on Thirsty Ear Records.
