Tenor saxophonist and compser Eskelin has been performing with Andrea Parkins and Jim Black for over five years, touring regularly in Europe, the US and Canada. The trio has been documented/recorded extensively by Hat Hut records. "Eskelin continues to be the most inventive American tenor player in creative music...he's come up with a startlingly original concept, a new approach to structuring jazz work and stimulating improvisations." -- Downbeat
