Rob Price Group

Please join us at Slought Foundation on Saturday, February 5, 2005 from 8:00-10:00pm for for a live concert by the Rob Price Group, with Jim Black (drums / percussion), Ellery Eskelin (tenor sax), Trevor Dunn (bass) and Rob Price (guitar).

Performing material composed and arranged primarily for the quartet's recording session and subsequent release 'At Sunset' (Gutbrain 04), recorded and mixed by legendary underground engineer Martin Bisi (Sonic Youth, John Zorn's Naked City, The Boredoms). Leader/guitarist Robert Price was a member of Dim Sum Clip Job. His compositions explore the ideas of jazz and surf to free improvisation and blues. This remarkable ensemble includes Ellery Eskelin (Rabih Abou-Khalil, Andrea Parkins), Trevor Dunn (Fantomas, Mr. Bungle, John Zorn's Electric Masada), and Jim Black (Bloodcount, Laurie Anderson).
