Please join us at Slought Foundation for the first annual Slought Jazz Fest from Thursday, October 26th to Sunday October 29, 2006. This festival inaugurates a new series of concerts at Slought Foundation showcasing local jazz musicians and their practices. Festival tickets can be purchased in advance from Slought Foundation or on the evening of the event; tickets for all concerts are $15.00, with a $12.00 student discount. A $45.00 four-day pass is available upon request.

The festival will feature performances by Steve Beskrone Group, The Cliftones, The Chance Trio, Bobby Zankel Ensemble, Jeff Baumeister and Useless Music, Ben Schachter and Cephalopod featuring Jef Lee Johnson, Shot X Shot, and Tom Lawton Trio. A preview concert with Uri Caine will take place on Thursday, October 12th (more information).

As Slought Foundation approaches its fifth anniversary, and we reflect on the ways our programming has fostered dialogue about contemporary culture, we invite your continued support. Whether this is your first visit to Slought Foundation or you have attended events in the past, please consider bringing a friend to these performances and introducing yourself to us.
