Slought Foundation encourages new and experimental approaches to artistic practice through an innovative series of time-based media and performance practices. These programs highlight the work of artists who are working at the forefront of new music, language arts, film, and new media.
Additionally, the organization has undertaken a series of archival initiatives, each available online, including an extensive 50 hour repository of recordings from the Vancouver 1963 Poetry Conference featuring New American poets such as Denise Levertov, Charles Olson, Allen Ginsberg, Robert Duncan, and others.
