At Slought Foundation, we believe in inventive and interdisciplinary collaborations that reach creatively across institutions, negotiating hidden resources in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors.
We are an independent affiliate of the School of Arts and Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania. Our primary activities in Philadelphia, often in collaboration with area organizations, are complemented by international projects in cities such as New York, Berlin, Venice, and Paris. All of these programs demonstrate our commitment to contemporary cultural life, and the importance we place on cultivating cross-cultural partnerships that enrich and expand our understanding of contemporary practice.
