Host your Next Private Function at
Slought Foundation

Rent space at Slought Foundation, one of the most exciting contemporary art organizations in Philadelphia, housed in a former Deco/Beaux-Arts bank dating from 1924, for your next function. Designed by architect George Kingsley, Slought Foundation provides a unique and flexible setting for receptions, meetings, lectures, and parties. Our extensive audio-video technologies are available for an additional fee. Guided tours of Slought Foundation can be arranged upon request.

Whatever the affair, your guests will have the opportunity to view the current exhibition at Slought Foundation. To request more information or reserve Slought Foundation for a special event, contact us today.

Terms / Rental Fee: The gallery has a maximum capacity of 250 persons, dependent on the current exhibition on display. It can be rented at $500 for three hour increments, schedule permitting. The rental fee must be paid in full in advance of the event. The rental fee shall be refunded if cancellation occurs at least three weeks prior to the date of the event. If the event is cancelled with less than three weeks notice, no refund will be made.

Beverages and Catering: Alcoholic beverages may be served at private functions only in the Slought Foundation space. No fee can be charged for alcoholic beverages. The client is responsible for party members' consumption of alcohol and must not serve minors. All Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board laws must be observed. Clients are responsible for hiring their own caterers. Space for the caterer will be provided, although Slought Foundation cannot provide kitchen facilities. Smoking is not permitted inside the building. Public parking is available adjacent to Slought Foundation and on surrounding streets.

Insurance: Rentals for a social function, or involving the consumption of alcohol, may or may not require a certificate of insurance due upon deposit. Contact us to determine whether this requirement applies to your function. Description of the policy (Certificate of Comprehensive Liability in the amount of $500,000 for bodily injury and $500,000 for property damage) must read: "It is understood that Slought Foundation is named additional insured under this policy." The certificate must also show evidence of Blanket Contractual Liability, Personal Injury Liability, and, if alcoholic beverages will be served, Host Liquor Liability. If a certificate of insurance is not available, payment of a supplemental rental fee of $50 is generally required.
