At Slought Foundation, we encourage new forms of sociability and activism through educational programs that address the issues and challenges our communities face today. These programs are purposely critical and provocative, and feature leading theorists and practitioners of our generation in conversation about contemporary debates in art and architecture, geopolitics, and critical theory.
This site makes over 287 hours of recordings from the best programs available to the public, for free.
How do cultures select what they mean by culture? For whom and to what end do we protect, preserve and present culture in a globalized world? How can we mitigate conflict by promoting cultural dialogue and exchange? Join us in exploring and generating new forms of sociability and activism by sharing information about the programs and recordings listed below with friends and colleagues.
