Catering and Beverages

Clients are welcome to bring in food and drink and hire their own caterers. Please note, however, that Slought does not have kitchen facilities. Alcohol may be served if the event is private and no fee is being charged for beverages. No minors may be served alcoholic beverages and the client is responsible for ensuring responsible consumption. All Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board laws must be observed at all times. Smoking is not permitted inside the building.

Insurance

Contact us to determine whether your function will require a certificate of liability and property insurance. Policies must be in the amount of $500,000 for bodily injury and $500,000 for property damage, and read: "Slought Foundation is named additional insured under this policy." The certificate must show evidence of Comprehensive Liability, Blanket Contractual Liability, Personal Injury Liability, and, if alcoholic beverages will be served, Host Liquor Liability. If you are not insured or a certificate cannot be procured by the date of your event, you will be personally and immediately responsible for any damages incurred to the facility. A supplemental rental deposit may also be required.

Equipment and Supplies

Folding chairs, folding tables, and audio/visual equipment are all available on site and available for your function at no additional fee.
