Keyla Cavdar

Cavdar's research engages the politics of memory, migration, and censorship. She is currently writing a project about contemporary Turkey and the experience of displacement. Cavdar recently completed her undergraduate degree in English Literature at the University of Pennsylvania.

As the 2018-2019 Curatorial Fellow at Slought, she facilitates Slought's relationship with the Penn community, including exhibition and event collaborations with faculty, students and staff. She is also assisting with the curation of Photographies of Conflict, a series of exhibitions with artists and collectives who use photography to contest dominant visual narratives of conflicts.
