Jeannine Cook

Cook is the co-director of Positive Minds, a consultancy that specializes in education and group facilitation. In her work, she customizes experiential multimedia workshops and intensives to create safe space, encourage trust, and build genuine connections among youth throughout Greater Philadelphia.

Over the past nine years, students working under her guidance have produced several multimedia service learning projects including New Beginnings, the Price of Peace, Dear Philadelphia, Look on Lancaster Ave., and Man in the Mirror. Others have produced award-winning projects such as Finding Northadelphia and Pushouts, which were recognized by Philadelphia Weekly, NBC 10 and the Philadelphia Inquirer for their innovative approach to re-engaging "out-of-school" youth. Cook has been awarded the Leeway Transformation Award, and her work at Positive Minds has been supported by the the Philadelphia Resources for Human Development New Beginnings Non-Profit Incubator program.
