Jabriya Sturdivant

Jabriya Sturdivant graduated from Tyler School of Art and Architecture at Temple University, with an interdisciplinary BA in Visual Studies. Ever curious, Jabriya is interested in experimenting with a diverse array of artistic techniques and mediums. She also enjoys building connections with fellow creatives, having exhibited in group shows such as "In Tandem" and "Manifesto." in Philadelphia, where she currently resides. For over two years, she worked at Temple Contemporary, where she gained a deep respect for galleries and alternative art spaces who are committed to providing support and education to their surrounding communities.

Jabriya believes in the arts as a means of communication and learning. Her fascination with the intersection of creativity and experience has pushed her to continue exploring the ways people use art to better understand themselves, others, and see the world in a different way.
