Anastasia Colzie

Colzie is invested in the changing dynamics of the art world and its implications for a more accessible and diverse space for students, visitors artists, and curators.

She is currently the Education Coordinator and leads the Health Ecologies Lab After School Program. Previously, Colzie was a Curatorial and Research Fellow at Slought from 2015 to 2017. In both roles, Colzie has explored art as a facilitator of dialogue and community development.

Colzie received her Masters in Art History from Pratt Institute, where she conducted research on Weimar art. In particular, she focused on the implications of social and political upheaval and its subsequent impact on art as a medium for discourse and social change. She is also committed to the practice of volunteering, and gives her time at Fleisher Art Memorial and the DIY art space PhilaMOCA.
